I find it pretty amazing how the littlest things can trigger a memory response. It can be something that you see, touch, hear or smell that can spark your memory from the past (I guess if it’s a memory, it is from the past, right?).
Well in this particular case, it was a YouTube video that I just recently watched. It was a duet with Andrea Bocelli and Katherine Jenkins singing the song, I believe.
Now you are asking yourself, what does this have to do with a past person, place or thing? Ok, I’m getting to that, right now as a matter of fact.
I just happened to pause the video at a certain point and that’s when the image I saw, took me back to my past memory of… drum roll please…the Thunderbirds television show. You remember the one, from the 1960’s, all the characters were marionette puppets (arms, legs & head were controlled from above with strings).

Anyway, when I saw that particular frame of the video, my memory flashed back to an image in my head of Lady Penelope from the Thunderbirds. Up until this point, I hadn’t even thought about this show.

Side by side comparison of Katherine Jenkins and Lady Penelope
Don’t you agree? Same full lips, same big eyes, and same slender nose. Katherine has beautiful blonde hair and Lady Penelope has beautiful blonde plastic strings for hair.
The other thing that’s a coincidence, is they are both from the UK. Katherine was born in Wales and Lady Penelope probably started life as a tree that was growing in the UK. Actually, the Thunderbirds show originated in the UK.
Just to set the record straight, I am merely pointing out an observation I had and not poking fun at Katherine Jenkins. I think she’s a great talent and beautiful to boot. Nuff said!
